12/15/99 -- The Lubricants Division of ChevronTexaco USA has named Lee Container the 1999 recipient of ChevronTexaco's Crystal Eagle Award. Earl Cox and Linh Le made the presentation at ChevronTexaco's headquarters in San Francisco in December. Art Cooper and Mike Kanceljak also represented ChevronTexaco at the presentation.

Don Lee, President of Lee Container, accepted the award on behalf of the Company. Robert Varnedoe, Vice President of Sales, and Roy Rhodes, Quality Systems Manager, also represented Lee Container at the ceremony.

Earl Cox expressed his appreciation of Lee Container's performance during the time the company has been a ChevronTexaco supplier. "We have only awarded the Crystal Eagle four times in the past five years," he noted, "so our suppliers have to commit themselves to excellence over a period of years to achieve this honor."

The inscription on the base reads: Presented to Lee Container, A Chevron quality supplier of gallon jugs, for their outstanding performance, excellent cooperation and unequaled service.
